Prior to that role, Mr. Colarulli was the Director of\r\nGovernment Relations and Legislative Counsel for the Intellectual Property Owners Association\r\n(IPO). He has also worked in the U.S. Senate, in a DC-based Law Firm, at the U.S. Small\r\nBusiness Administration and at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.\r\n

He was born in Rhode Island and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.

He was the lead drafter of South Africa’s Intellectual Property Rights from\r\nPublicly Financed Research and Development Act, 2008. \r\nEugeniu Rusu leads the Moldovan IP office since September 2021\r\nand represents the Republic of Moldova in international IP\r\norganisations. In his role as Director General of AGEPI, he is cochairing the National Commission for Intellectual Property, an\r\nadvisory IP body to the Moldovan Government, and chairs some other\r\nIP committees, including the IPR Enforcement Observatory, the\r\nAGEPI Board of Appel and the Government Commission for granting\r\npermission to use the official or historical name of the state.

\r\nMr Rusu was employed with AGEPI as a legal specialist in 2015 and since then acted in\r\ndifferent legal and management positions.
