Golestan Abbas Kamel Radwan is\r\nthe Advisor to the Minister for Artificial\r\nIntelligence (AI) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

Radwan possesses over 17 years of\r\nexperience in technology areas,\r\nwith international experience in AI, cloud computing, engineering management, strategic\r\nplanning and product management.

Prior to her appointment at MCIT,\r\nRadwan held several executive positions. She\r\nserved as Director of AI Products\r\nUnit at London-based health tech startup Babylon Health, where she led the AI product portfolio, leading a team\r\nof doctors, engineers, and AI scientists and designers to create an intelligent mobile platform\r\nfor medical diagnosis, predictive health and chronic disease management.
Before Babylon, Radwan spent over\r\n10 years in the technology industry in Germany, UK and US, where she held various positions in engineering management,\r\nstrategic planning and product\r\nmanagement. She was the Vice\r\nPresident of Product Strategy at OnApp-UK for cloud management systems, and the Cloud Product Marketing Manager for\r\nUK-based Canonical/Ubuntu. She also worked as the UK Marketing\r\nManager at Japanese software company\r\nNTT Data, and the Solutions Marketing Manager and Leadership Program\r\nparticipant at Avaya Inc. in the UK\r\nand US. She also spent several years\r\nas a Software Engineer and Team\r\nLeader at Novell Inc in Germany.
As an AI expert, Radwan\r\nparticipated as a speaker at several AI conferences in Europe and the US, and served as a consultant to many\r\nstartups and investors in AI areas, especially health systems.
Radwan earned a BSc in Computer\r\nEngineering from Cairo University in 2000. She\r\nreceived her MBA from London Business\r\nSchool (LBS), UK, in 2006, and a MSc in Clinical Engineering and Healthcare Technology Management from\r\nCity University of London, UK, in 2012. She\r\nis persuing her PhD thesis in\r\ncomputer engineering, specializing in AI and bioinformatics analysis from the\r\nRoyal Holloway, University\r\nof London, UK.

Ms. Daria Shipitsyna is the Head\r\nof the Strategic Communication Center, the Federal Institute\r\nof Industrial Property\r\n(FIPS).
Ms. Shipitsyna is responsible\r\nfor strategic and digital projects, as well as\r\nexternal communications. She is a former Head of projects on intellectual property, digital\r\ntechnologies and international arbitration at\r\nthe Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce\r\n(ICC Russia).

About current project:
- To create\r\nthe future service and communication infrastructure, based on the national\r\nAltinn-3.0 framework, on top om MS Azure (public cloud). The Altinn 3.0 platform\r\nis open source (GIT) and\r\nproduction of microservices (Kubernetes) for digital services, integrations,\r\nand communication/authentication,\r\netc.
- The immediate goals of project\r\nare:
- to make all\r\nour IPR data available in a well-structured manner, ensuring its international use and\r\nvalue.
- to allow secure digital\r\naccess to communication and self-services for foreign users
- to explore\r\nnew technologies to solve self service challenges, e.g\r\nutilize blockchain
Registrar General, Uganda \r\nRegistration Services Bureau (URSB), Uganda
Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho is the\r\ncurrent Registrar General of Uganda Registration\r\nServices Bureau (URSB) a government institution. Before she became\r\nthe Registrar General,\r\nshe successfully served\r\nin different
ranks at URSB. She served as\r\nDirector Intellectual Property, Director Business Registration, Manager Intellectual Property.

Prior to joining URSB, she served\r\nas State Attorney at the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs\r\nand a Legal Assistant at Shonubi Musoke\r\n& Co Advocates.
Director, Global Databases \r\nDivision, Infrastructure and Platforms Sector, WIPO
After two years at CERN as a\r\ndatabase engineer and four years as a consultant\r\nin an IT services company in Switzerland, Christophe Mazenc has been working for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva\r\nfor the last twenty\r\nthree years.
Christophe holds a Phd in\r\nComputer Arithmetic obtained in 1993 at the\r\nEcole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (France).
Christophe is currently\r\nresponsible for the development and operations of WIPO's free public search\r\nsystems on the internet, namely PATENTSCOPE for patents, WIPO's Global Brand Database for trademarks and WIPO's Global\r\nDesign Database for industrial designs. Another responsibility of the division is to\r\nexplore the application of Machine Learning to the large amounts of data stored in the organization's databases to build\r\nstate-of-the-art tools aiming at easing the operations of the Intellectual Property system.
Assistant Director General, Infrastructure and Platforms Sector, WIPO
Assistant Director General Ken\r\nIchiro Natsume leads the Infrastructure\r\nand Platforms Sector. The sector develops, implements\r\nand maintains the various databases, tools and\r\nplatforms of the Organization that are targeted at and used by IP offices, IP professionals, researchers,\r\nand other specialized users in\r\nnational, regional and global IP and innovation ecosystems. The sector also covers the use of technologies\r\nsuch as artificial intelligence to enhance and support the effectiveness and impact of
these databases, tools\r\nand platforms.
