\r\nLisa Jorgenson is the Deputy Director General, Patents and\r\nTechnology Sector at the World Intellectual Property\r\nOrganization in Geneva, Switzerland which administers the\r\nPatent Cooperation Treaty. She also manages patent and\r\ntechnology legislative and policy advice and programs relating\r\nto the law of patents. She was previously the Executive Director\r\nat the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the\r\nGroup Vice President, Intellectual Property and Licensing at\r\nSTMicroelectronics. Lisa earned her BS degree in biology from St. Mary’s University in Notre\r\nDame, Indiana, her Master’s degree in Management from Purdue University and her JD from\r\nthe John Marshall Law School.

\r\nDana Robert Colarulli is an attorney and senior government affairs\r\nprofessional with more than two decades of experience working on\r\nlegal-related technology policy and intellectual property issues in\r\nand with the private sector and government.\r\n
He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Licensing\r\nExecutive Society International (LESI), the umbrella organization of\r\n33 national and regional associations in 90 countries around the\r\nworld, supporting professionals who license cutting-edge\r\ntechnology and intellectual property. He is also a partner at the\r\nconsulting firm ACG Advocacy LLC based in Washington, DC and\r\nsupports policy analysis and governmental engagement around\r\nintellectual property issues.\r\n
From 2009- 2019, Mr. Colarulli served as the Director of the Office of Governmental Affairs as a\r\nmember of the Executive Management team at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)\r\nfacilitating substantive patent, copyright and trademark and related policy discussions and\r\nadvocating for USPTO operational priorities. Prior to that role, Mr. Colarulli was the Director of\r\nGovernment Relations and Legislative Counsel for the Intellectual Property Owners Association\r\n(IPO). He has also worked in the U.S. Senate, in a DC-based Law Firm, at the U.S. Small\r\nBusiness Administration and at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.\r\n
He was born in Rhode Island and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Director General, IP Australia,\r\nAustralia\r\nMichael commenced with IP Australia on 20 September 2018 as\r\nDirector General.
\r\nImmediately prior Michael was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at\r\nDepartment of Industry, Innovation and Science for 3 years and\r\nacting COO at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research\r\nOrganisation from June to Sept 2018.\r\n
Michael has had a varied career across innovation, science and\r\neducation policy, Michael has been responsible for:
\r\n- implementing innovation programs, including the $3B R&D tax\r\nincentive\r\n
- developing med-tech, pharma-bio, small business and industry\r\npolicy
\r\n- foreign investment attraction into Australian high tech industries\r\n
- trade and multilateral negotiations in food, agriculture and energy.\r\nFrom 2012 to 2015 Michael was based in the Washington DC Embassy as Minister Counsellor\r\n(Industry, Science and Education). He spent five years in Parliament House as a researcher\r\nand speechwriter, and two years as an auditor for a large multinational accounting firm.

Chief Executive, Intellectual Property Office of\r\nSingapore, Singapore
\r\nMrs Rena Lee is the Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property\r\nOffice of Singapore (IPOS). Rena began her career in the public\r\nservice with the Ministry of Defence in 1992, and has since\r\nserved with the Attorney-General’s Chambers and the Ministry of\r\nForeign Affairs as well. She has specialized in the practice of\r\ninternational law, including international humanitarian and human\r\nrights law, law of the sea, environmental and climate change law.\r\nRena also currently serves as Singapore’s Ambassador for\r\nOceans and Law of the Sea Issues and the Special Envoy of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
